King’s Health Partners adult centre
This centre specialises in developing and delivering early‑phase trials for novel molecular and cellular cancer immunotherapies, building on discoveries from King’s College London laboratories.
Centre overview
Our King’s Health Partners adult experimental cancer medicine centre (ECMC) drives translation of first‑in‑class agents into the clinic, including IgE‑based antibodies and on‑site manufactured CAR‑T cell therapies for solid tumours, supporting both academic and industry‑partnered studies.
Since opening its first trial in 2007, this centre has rapidly expanded its early‑phase portfolio across thoracic, gastrointestinal, gynaecological and skin cancers.
Trials are delivered through the NIHR Clinical Research Facility at Guy’s Hospital. This is London’s only MHRA‑accredited NHS‑managed Clinical Research Facility and is supported by strong governance and surgical oncology expertise.
