Research Nurses Network Group

This group promotes quality care for patients taking part in early-phase research. It provides peer support, training and guidance for researchers involved in early-phase and translational research.

Scope of membership

This group is open to any research nurse working in early-phase cancer research. This includes those working with children, teenagers and young adults and adult patients. Clinical trial practitioners working in early-phase cancer research are also welcome to join.

Remit

  • Contribute to achieving the aims of our network.

  • Identify priorities for the development of the group and take them forward.

  • Facilitate the sharing of expertise and experience across our network and promote collaboration amongst research nurses working in experimental cancer medicine.

  • Produce guidelines and recommendations where required.

  • Work with the programme office to communicate the activities of the group.

  • Collaborate with other research organisations to maximise the group's impact.

  • Raise the profile of early-phase research nurses and our network.
